BURNT OUT at The Zoo (Fortitude Valley, QLD) on Thursday, 14 July 2022

Burnt out is a new series that focus on Alternative artists from both the local Brisbane scene as well as interstate artists.

Joining us this July is GLASS TIDES for their first ever Brisbane show. Glass Tides are a four-piece Post-Hardcore ensemble from Adelaide, South Australia and are wasting no time to establish themselves nationwide by supporting artists such as Thrice, Circa Survive, Spiderbait, Body Jar, Young Lions and more.

SHANGRILA all the from Western Australia, the band burst onto the scene in 2018 with their highly praised EP "Love and Leaving" and quickly earned the reputation as a "must see act" and landing themselves on supports for the likes of Trophy Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance, Movements and many more.

Supporting the interstate artists are Brisbane locals, 4 piece hardcore band GRIZZLYSHARK. Like a boisterous bolt of lightning exploding across the sky, Brisbane easycore heroes Grizzlyshark bring sturdy pop persuasions and potent punk to the table, fusing ferocity with rollicking finesse. Wielding punchy riffs and rhythms alongside infectious anthems and hooks, Grizzlyshark first announced themselves to the world back in 2018, teaming up withTroy Brady (The Amity Affliction, In Hearts Wake) on their debut release RESTART. While 2020 brought new releases, including the certified banger Vicarious, 2022is set to further intensify the burgeoning Grizzlyshark adventure, with their latest and greatest chapter ready to unfold via MOSAIC; a powerful collection of Grizzly tunes brimming with audacious yet insightful lyricism, pop culture and gaming nods, plus plenty of bangin’ anthems to eclipse genres and expectations.

And finally, heavy hitting new comers CITADEL, born in the pandamic, Citadel fuse extensive experience and a sharp and shared creative vision, alongside flavours borrowed from the likes of Sleep Token, Loathe and video game OSTs.
